The Alaska Community Foundation is accepting grants from nonprofit organizations based in Alaska for their capacity-building efforts.
Through its Strengthening Organizations grant program, the community foundation supports projects with the potential to help Alaska nonprofits better fulfill their missions. Projects should directly enhance the work of the organization, making it stronger with well-organized systems in place and skilled employees who have the training and resources to do their jobs.
Grants of up to $10,000 will be awarded to support professional staff and boards in their efforts to develop their skills, access tools, and cultivate systems in the areas of leadership development, organizational development, program development, collaboration and community engagement, and evaluation of effectiveness.
Eligibility is limited to 501(c)(3) organizations (or equivalent) located in the state of Alaska. Equivalent organizations may include tribes, schools, churches, and local government agencies and programs.
See the ACF website for complete program guidelines and application instructions.
