The Pirkle Jones Fund of Marin Community Foundation (formerly the Pirkle Jones Foundation) will award its eighth individual $25,000 grant to an emerging or mid-career visual artist residing in Marin County.
The grant is offered to a promising artist and may be used for any purpose, including living expenses. Last year, Ido Yoshimoto, a resident of Inverness, was the seventh recipient of a grant from the foundation's Visual Artist Support Program, enabling the woodworker, arborist, and artist to tackle new projects that pushed him as an artist.
To be eligible, applicants must be an emerging or mid-career visual artist and reside in Marin County.
