The National Ataxia Foundation is committed to funding the best science, both basic and translational, relevant to hereditary and sporadic types of ataxia.
To that end, one-year seed grants of up to $15,000 — and up to $30,000 for promising proposals — will be awarded in support of the early or pilot phase of studies and ongoing investigations. Only current faculty members are eligible to apply for seed-money grants.
Letters of Intent must be received no later than July 16. Upon review, selected applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal by August 15, 2018.
For complete program guidelines, information about past award recipients, and application procedures, see the National Ataxia Foundation website.
