SVP Boston Seeks LOIs From High-Potential Education Nonprofits

Social Venture Partners Boston is a diverse community of leaders who invest their time and money in nonprofits working to ensure that every child and young adult succeeds in school and beyond.

To that end, SVP Boston is seeking Letters of Interest from high-potential small- to mid-size nonprofits in the Boston-area working to help educationally and/or economically disadvantaged children, youth, and families succeed. Selected nonprofits will receive multiyear support, beginning with $25,000 in general operating funds and hundreds of hours of skilled volunteer time in the first year. Engagements are renewable annually for a total of up to three years and $75,000.

To be eligible, applicants must be registered as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with the Internal Revenue Service; serve clients in City of Boston neighborhoods or adjacent communities; and be focused on helping kids and young adults succeed in school and beyond.

Letters of Interest must be received no later than August 30. Upon review, selected applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal by October 1, 2018.

SVP Boston will be hosting an informational session for grantseekers at the offices of Associated Grant Makers on August 6.
