Parent Coalition Heritage Fund for Adults With Special Needs Invites Applications

The Parent Coalition Heritage Fund for Adults with Special Needs was established at the Akron Community Foundation in 2011 to help educate residential providers who care for adults with developmental disabilities. To advance this mission, the fund has issued a Call for Applications.

Grants of up to $1,200 will be awarded to Akron-based organizations that educate residential staff about caring for adults with developmental disabilities and are focused on enhancing residents' quality of life.

To be eligible, applicants must be considered tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code.
