The Davis Phinney Foundation is committed to funding the most promising research on therapeutics and lifestyle choices that promote living well with Parkinson’s disease.
To that end, the foundation will award up to $50,000 in support of innovative research, with a focus on exercise and/or nutrition and Parkinson’s disease. The topic of the research can be interpreted to include a range of investigations, including effects on speech, falls, and non-motor symptoms.
Priority will be given to smaller, innovative studies designed to demonstrate proof of concept, paving the way for larger studies or clinical trials.
Letters of Intent must be received no later than March 1. Upon review, selected applicants will be invited to submit a full application by May 31, 2019.
See the Davis Phinney Foundation website for complete program guidelines and application instructions.
