Regional Arts Commission of St. Louis Accepting Applications for Artist Support Grants

Since 1985, the Regional Arts Commission of St. Louis has played an active role in bolstering the creative community of St. Louis, Missouri, by working to improve access to the arts, advocating for cultural diversity, and providing critical funding to both arts organizations and individual artists.

To that end, RAC currently is accepting applications for its Artist Support Grants. Through the program, grants of up to $3,000 will be awarded to individual artists in support of their career development. Artists in all creative disciplines are eligible to apply, and grant funds may be used for any need relevant to the artist’s professional creative growth, including skills development, training, the purchase of equipment, and the rental of rehearsal space.

RAC will be hosting application writing workshops in February and March.

Eligible candidates must be a resident of the City or County of St. Louis City and have created and presented their own original work within the last three years. Full-time undergraduate students are not eligible for a grant.

For detailed grant guidelines, application instructions, and a list of application workshop dates, see the Regional Arts Commission website.
