Since 1981, the Oncology Nursing Foundation has been dedicated to supporting nurses who provide cancer care through research and educational initiatives.
In support of this mission, the foundation is currently accepting Letters of Intent to its Research Grant program.
Through the program, grants of up to $25,000 over two years will be awarded in support of oncology nursing research projects. Research may include pilot or feasibility studies or the development of a new aspect of a program of research.
To be eligible, the principal investigator must be actively involved in some aspect of cancer patient care, education, or research and be PhD- or DNSc-prepared. Funding preference is given to projects that involve nurses in the design and conduct of the research activity and that promote theoretically based oncology practice.
Letters of Intent must be received no later than August 15, 21019. Upon review, selected applicants will be invited to submit a full application by September 15, 2019.
For complete program guidelines and application instructions, see the Oncology Nursing Foundation website.
