The Orthopaedic Research and Education Foundation is dedicated to supporting research that improves function, eliminates pain, and restores mobility.
To that end, the foundation is accepting applications for its Resident Research Project Grant program. Through the program, a grant of $5,000 will be awarded to a resident who is conducting research on clinically relevant advancements that will improve outcomes for patients and help them enjoy more of life. Projects must be clearly achievable as a free-standing effort even when part of a larger work.
Funding may be used to cover research expenses but not salary or travel.
Eligible applicants include orthopedic surgery residents in ACGME-accredited orthopedic programs in the United States.
See the Orthopaedic Research and Education Foundation website for program details, eligibility criteria, and access to the application portal.
