Background

The Women's Treatment Center provides chemically-dependent women with a continuum of care, recovery tools, and parenting skills to maintain a sober lifestyle as they rebuild their lives and futures and mend the bonds with their families.   For more than 40 years, this social service agency has successfully expanded substance use disorder services.  We serve many individuals each year in our treatment, screening, and referral programs.   We are one of the few substance abuse programs in the nation that can accommodate children in residential treatment, making us particularly responsive to the needs of chemically dependent mothers. We are Joint Commission Accredited.

Job Summary

The Executive Director will also be responsible for the financial well-being of the organization.

The Executive Director will be responsible to lead The Women’s Treatment Center, ensuring ongoing local programmatic excellence, rigorous program evaluation, and new program design. He/she will endeavor to achieve consistent quality of finance and administration, research, fundraising, communications, and systems, and recommend timelines and resources needed to achieve strategic goals.

The Executive Director will develop and lead the strategic business plan. He/she must be able to assess and use the organization’s resources to its fullest capacity and have an understanding of budget management and financial statements.

The Executive Director will have deep knowledge of the field, core programs, operations and business plans and must be an external local and statewide presence for TWTC.

The Executive Director will possess an understanding of Substance Abuse / Behavioral Health organizational structure models, including MCOs and Medicaid reimbursement, and general business knowledge.

Reports To

The Executive Director will report to the Board of Directors, and will have overall strategic, operational, and leadership responsibility for The Women’s Treatment Center’s programs and staff and will be tasked with execution and expansion of its mission.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum ten years of progressively responsible managerial supervisory experience in substance abuse treatment or other social services field
  • Education: Master’s degree in administration, psychology, social work, MBA, or related field required
  • Certification/Licensure: CADC, LSW, LCSW, LPC, or LCPC preferred
