Colorado Access, a nonprofit community-based healthcare organization, has announced 2020 grants totaling $10 million to local organizations and healthcare providers.
Organizations receiving grants ranged in size from large hospital systems to small provider offices, with grants awarded in areas ranging from COVID-19 relief and response efforts, to food security and housing assistance, to healthcare services. In December, grants totaling more than $4 million were awarded to more than fifty healthcare providers and community-based organizations.
"To maximize the reach of our investments, we had to consider those providers and organizations that are highly engaged with our membership," said Rob Bremer, vice president of network strategy at Colorado Access. "All of our providers and community partners do great work, so we looked to provide additional, needed support in critical, high impact areas."
