Made in support of the school's recently expanded A Time to Lead campaign, the largest non-estate gift in Hendrix history includes $10 million in support of endowed student scholarships. Other gifts made to the campaign will be used to grow the college's endowment and fund a multimillion-dollar Residence Hall Renewal Project, including renovations of Veasey Hall and historic Martin Hall.
"These priorities — the Residence Hall Renewal Project and increasing the college's endowment — will support student recruitment and retention," said the school's president, W. Ellis Arnold III. "They will keep Hendrix accessible and affordable to students and families, and they will ensure that Hendrix remains one of the country's leading liberal arts colleges for academic quality, innovation, and value."
