The Northern Piedmont Community Foundation (NPCF) was established in December 2000 by nine concerned citizens from Virginia’s Piedmont region who were searching for solutions to the charitable needs in Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison, and Rappahannock counties. Today, the foundation continues to fund innovative projects that meet the changing needs of Virginia Piedmont communities.
In support of its mission, the foundation is inviting applications for its Community Assistance Grant program. Through the program, grants of up to $25,000 will be awarded to organizations delivering services in the Virginia counties of Fauquier, Rappahannock, and northern Culpeper. The foundation will consider proposals aimed at improving access to services and programs for vulnerable and underserved populations; increasing access to unique community assets; testing new ideas and different partnerships; and addressing issues, concerns or opportunities in the foundation’s service area. Collaborative proposals that build and develop community resources and partnerships are encouraged.
Letters of Inquiry are due January 10, 2010. Upon review, selected applicants will be invited to submit a full application by February 7, 2020.
To be eligible, applicants must be tax exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and have had such status for at least three years.
See the Northern Piedmont Community Foundation website for complete program guidelines and application instructions.
