Baltimore Community Foundation Invites Applications for Baltimore Women’s Giving Circle Grants

The Baltimore Women's Giving Circle at the Baltimore Community Foundation brings together women from diverse backgrounds with a common goal: to empower women and their families in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

To that end, the foundation is inviting applications for its Baltimore Women's Giving Circle Grant program. Through the program, grants of up to $25,000 will be awarded to nonprofit organizations servinge women and their families in Baltimore City and/or Baltimore County whose projects and services promote self-sufficiency. Promoting self-sufficiency is interpreted to mean supporting women of all ages and their families to live healthy, productive lives. Grants will focus on assisting those who are economically disadvantaged.

A non-inclusive list of projects to be supported through the program include housing, addiction, financial literacy, education, health services, parenting, life skills, mentoring, workforce development, legal services, and violence prevention.

To be eligible, applicants must be tax exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
