American College of Sports Medicine Invites Applications for Physical Activity Heath Benefits

The American College of Sports Medicine works to advance research with educational and practical applications in the fields of exercise science and sports medicine.

To that end, the organization is inviting applications for the Dr. Raymond A. Weiss Research Endowment. Grants of $1,500 will be awarded in support of research on the health benefits (physical, mental and emotional) of physical activity and sports. The psychological and emotional benefits of physical activity are of particular importance to the creators of this endowment.

To be eligible, applicants must have graduate student status and be a current member of ACSM at the time of applications.
