The mission of the Tell Every Amazing Lady About Ovarian Cancer Louisa M. McGregor Ovarian Cancer Foundation, also known as T.E.A.L.®, is to promote public awareness and education of the signs, symptoms, and risk factors associated with ovarian cancer while providing support to survivors and raising funds for research in order to find a cure.
The foundation is currently accepting applications for its 2020 Medical Research Program, which provides funding for ovarian cancer research studies that are deemed most aligned with T.E.A.L.®'s mission by the organization’s board of directors and scientific advisory board.
Funding requests of up to $40,000 per year will be considered. Project costs must be thoroughly outlined in the budget portion of the application, and grants do not cover indirect costs. Any funds that are awarded to institutions/projects are not permitted to go toward indirect costs and PI salary.
To be eligible for a grant, applicants must be affiliated with a 501(c)(3) non-for-profit institution in the United States. Grant applications from for-profit organizations or from federal or state government agencies will not be considered.
The deadline to submit a proposal is May 31, 2020. Al eligible proposals will receive a response by November.
For additional information and/or to access the online application, see the T.E.A.L.® website.
