Your Community Foundation of West Virginia Invites Applications for Emergency Impact Fund

In response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the board of directors of Your Community Foundation of North Central West Virginia (YCF) has established the YCF Emergency Impact Fund. 

Grants through the fund will be targeted to assist nonprofit organizations working to address the  critical human services needs within the five-county region served by YCF, which includes the West Virginia counties of Harrison, Marion, Monongalia, Preston, and Taylor. Grants awarded will range from between $500 and $2,500 and must be used to pay unanticipated, additional expenses related to COVID-19. Funding priorities include emergency food, shelter, and other basic needs. 

To be eligible, applicants must be tax exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code or be another type of charitable organization in good standing, such as a faith-based organization serving community needs or a public entity. Applicants must serve the residents of one or more of the following counties of West Virginia: Harrison, Marion, Monongalia, Preston, and Taylor.
