The mission of the Orthopaedic Trauma Association is to promote excellence in care for the injured patient through provision of scientific forums and support of musculoskeletal research and education of orthopaedic surgeons and the public.
To that end, OTA welcomes applications for the OTA Resident Research Grant program. Through the program, grants of up to $20,000 will be awarded in support of basic or clinical trauma research that advances the treatment and prevention of musculoskeletal injury.
To be eligible, the PI must be an orthopedic resident (co-PIs need not be a resident) and either the PI or co-PI must be an OTA member in good standing. In addition, the research must be conducted in North America.
See the Orthopaedic Trauma Association website for complete program guidelines and application instructions.
