Charlottesville Area Community Foundation Invites Applications for Bama Works Fund

The Charlottesville Area Community Foundation works with local residents, nonprofits, and public and private organizations to facilitate philanthropy and improve the quality of life in the Charlottesville, Virginia, area.

To that end, the foundation welcomes applications to the Bama Works Fund, which was established by the Dave Matthews Band. Through the fund, grants of up to $10,000 will be awarded in support of community initiatives from organizations working to benefit the City of Charlottesville and the Virginia counties of Albemarle, Buckingham, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, Nelson, and Orange.

To be eligible, applicants must be a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, a governmental or religious entity, or fiscally sponsored by a 501(c)(3) organization.
