The mission of the Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation is to continue the philanthropic legacy of Lloyd Noble by funding organizations that successfully address agricultural challenges, expand educational opportunities, advance medical research, improve health services, and strengthen our communities.
Although the primary focus of the foundation's grant program is agricultural research conducted by the Noble Research Institute, the foundation also provides funding to charitable organizations working to promote good health, support education, and build stronger communities.
Generally, the foundation's grantmaking is geographically focused on organizations and projects in Oklahoma. Requests for multiyear commitments will not be considered.
To be eligible, applicants must be recognized as tax exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
For the 2021 grant cycle, Letters of Intent must be received by June 1, 2021. Upon review, selected applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal.
See the Noble Foundation website for complete program guidelines and application instructions.
