The American Academy of Periodontology Foundation works to improve the periodontal and general health of the public through support for research and education.
To help advance that mission, the foundation welcomes applications for its Teaching Fellowship program.
Through the program, fellowships of $50,000 will be awarded to qualified faculty members in their first three years of teaching at a U.S. periodontal training institution. Funding for Teaching Fellows is provided at the end of each year of full-time teaching.
To be eligible, applicants must be in the first three years of full-time teaching (as defined by the institution) at a U.S. periodontal program or have accepted a full-time faculty position at a U.S. periodontal program.
See the American Academy of Periodontolgy Foundation website for complete program guidelines and application instructions.
