The Michigan Masonic Charitable Foundation is accepting applications for its B.E.S.T community grant program.
Through the program, grants of up to $50,000 will be awarded in support of programs or projects focused on the needs of Michigan youth. Priority will be given to projects that increase the capacity of the community to participate in identifying needs and developing and implementing solutions; demonstrate a clear and convincing need; help individuals develop self-reliance; target gaps in services; and/or mirror a community's diversity. The foundation also seeks projects that solve or address a critical local need; are evidence based and have the potential to achieve significant desired outcomes; are focused on prevention; encourage collaboration and cooperation among charities; and are sustainable.
To be eligible, applicants must be considered tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of the United States.
