The National Institute of Health Care Management is accepting submissions for its NIHCM Foundation Health Care Print Journalism Awards.
Now in their twenty-fourth year, the annual $10,000 awards recognize excellence in healthcare reporting and writing on the financing and delivery of health care and the impact of healthcare policy. Prizes will be awarded in the categories of general circulation print and trade publications.
1) General Circulation Print: Entries will be accepted from newspapers and magazines and their websites. Entries also will be accepted from independent news sites.
2) Trade: Entries will be accepted from publications written for a specialty audience.
To be eligible, articles should be timely, have generated new insights into healthcare financing and delivery or health care policy, and have been published during the 2017 calendar year,.
A $10,000 prize will be presented to the winner of each award at a dinner in Washington, D.C., on June 5, 2018.
