The Hanley Family Foundation with a mission focused on substance use disorder.
To that end, the foundation awards grants to organizations whose primary purpose is the diagnosis and treatment of substance use disorder.
The foundation accepts letters of inquiry (LOI) on an ongoing basis. Upon review, selected applicants will be invited to submit a full application. Grant amounts are determined on a project-by-project basis.
To be eligible, applicants must be considered tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and that qualify as a public charity as described in section 509(a)(1), (2), or (3).
There is no deadline for submitting a LOI, but HFF has a fiscal year ending May 31, and it conducts two funding cycles each fiscal year. Grant applications received by March 31 will be decided on by May 31, and those received by September 30 will be decided on by November 30.
See the Hanley Family Foundation for complete program guidelines and application procedures.
