The Blue & You Foundation for a Healthier Arkansas is accepting applications from programs that positively affect the health of Arkansans.
Priority will be given to projects focused on healthcare delivery, healthcare policy, and healthcare economics. Projects must demonstrate strong community, regional, or statewide support (e.g., co-funding by other community, regional, or statewide organizations or groups). Projects also should demonstrate operational and financial viability that will continue after funding from the foundation ends. Grant amounts will range between $5,000 and $150,000.
In addition to its regular grants program, the foundation offers a simpler application for $1,000 mini-grants to support health-improvement projects in Arkansas. Applications for mini-grants will be accepted in the months of January, February, and March.
To be eligible, applicants must be an Arkansas-based organization or governmental agency. Any 501(c)(3) public charity, public school, governmental agency, or nonprofit hospital in Arkansas is eligible to apply. Churches are eligible as well, but their health improvement program must reach beyond their own congregations.
See the Blue & You Foundation website for complete program guidelines, a list of previously awarded grants, and application instructions.
